As its name says, the Snake Road is a curvy road like a snake.
It forms the boundary of Sendagi (Bunkyo Ward) and Yanaka (Taito Ward).
It used to be a river called the Aizome River, and the river is still running underground towards the Shinobazu Pond in Ueno.
