ツアー作成のため谷中を下見 A trip to Yanaka for a tour preparation

私たちは今回谷中エリアの英語ツアー作成の準備のため、谷根千とその歴史を深く知ることを目的に谷中霊園を下見をしてきました！

私たちも実際あまり谷根千に来る機会が少ないのでこの美しい空気と古き日本を思い出させる建物をみているとあっという間に時間が過ぎてしまいました。

今回は今度行うワンダースポットツアーの下見ということでいくつか写真もあげたので、ツアーに興味があれば是非コメントしてください！また、ツアーに関するご意見なども是非お聞かせください。

Today, we went to Yanesen to research about the history of Yanesen and to prepair for a tour. We are planning to organize a English tour to show tourists the neighborhood of Yanaka especially around Yanaka Cemetery. 

We actually don't vists Yanesen so often, so we were quite excited to look around there. 

There were some interesting shops and we were able to feel the old atmosphere of a old style Japanese culture.

街頭インタビュー Interview tourists

私たちはワンダースポット(一般的な有名な観光名所ではないが魅力の溢れる隠れ観光スポット) 発掘のため谷中・根津・千駄木の3つの地域で外国人観光客に街頭インタビューを行いました。

今回は2日間で24の団体にインタビューを行うことが出来ました。

観光客の国籍はバラバラで一番多かった国籍はオーストラリアの5団体、続いてはイスラエル、スペイン、ポーランド、スエーデン、フランスの2団体。そして、その他にもアメリカ、カナダ、マレーシア、インドネシア、ドイツ、イングランド、イタリア、オーストリア、ネザーランドの団体をそれぞれ1組ずつインタビューすることが出来ました。

この結果から谷根千には世界中の人々が惚れてしまう魅力があることが分かりました。

We interviewed tourists, who were visiting Yanaka, Nezu and Sendagi in order to find Wonder Spots ( places that aren't every famous within tourists, however has some appealing factors about it and is a hidden tourist attraction). We were able to interview 24 groups of tourists from all nationalities. Australia had the highest number of groups by 5 groups, followed by Israel, Spain, Poland, Switzerland and France with 2 groups. USA, Canada, Malaysia, Indonesia, Germany, England, Italy, Austria and Netherlands all had one group each. From this result we were able to find out that Yanesen is a place appealing to people from all over the world. 

We are going to post more informations that we collected during our interview later on.

This is a blog which introduces Yanesen-area (short form of Yanaka, Nezu, Sendagi), Japan to toursists from all over the world. We are going to post useful information about Japan and information about tourist attractive spots that aren't usually on guide books.
